My eyes have seen evil

My ears have heard evil

My heart has felt evil

My tongue speaks not of it

-not my feelings

-not others feelings

I hurt and hurt other by hiding my tears the things I saw

-the things I heard

-and most of o all the things I felt

Pain was strong

Threats were stronger

Threats of more pain

-of more tears

-of more evil

My mind swam in confusion

My heart wondered if there was any good to be found
